Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th April

\"CIMG0131\"<\/a>Fourteen members of B.F.C. Attended the Harrogate Spring Flower Show on Sunday 26 April.<\/p>\n

It was a very enjoyable day,the weather stayed fine & sunny,allowing us to browse admire & purchase lots of plants!<\/p>\n

The Floristry Hall was amazing,packed with fantastic exhibits of all shapes,sizes & colour combinations,a feast for our eyes.<\/p>\n

We were delighted to see members of B.F.C. had great success with their entries.<\/p>\n

Eileen Barraclough received a second place in the W.A.F.A. elimination heat & also a second place in class A12 entitled ‘Have you got the bottle’.<\/p>\n

Shirley Mitchell won Silver Gilt with her display for the Hardy Plant Society.<\/p>\n

Norma Dobney & Pat Trueman participated in a team who created a beautiful display entitled ‘Enchanted Garden’ – it really was enchanting & quite breathtaking.<\/p>\n

\"CIMG0115\"<\/a>Norma Dobney gave a demonstration to a packed audience, she was very well received & her displays were beautiful.<\/p>\n

WOW we really do have a wealth of talented people at B.F.C.<\/p>\n

We left the show at 4pm to meet Steve our usual coach driver who always keeps us entertained with his great sense of humour.We all had lots to chat about on our return home & everyone expressed the same sentiment, WHAT A GREAT DAY OUT, looking forward to the autumn flower show!<\/p>\n
