Welcome

Welcome

We meet from March to December on the third Monday of the month at 7:30pm. Our present venue is Allerton Congregational Church, 345 Allerton Road, Bradford BD15 7HB. There is a large car park at the side of the church on Garforth Street. We welcome visitors and new members at any of our meetings.

We welcome members new and old to join us as the BFC starts a new chapter in it’s history. 2022 was the 65th year the Club has been in existence. The first meeting was held in Church House on North Parade in 1957, and was attended by a young man, George Smith, who gave a demonstration and soon joined Bradford Flower Club. George Smith, MBE has been recognised for his services to flower arranging, and is also a NAFAS Special Associate of Honour. Since then the Club has had held many Meetings, Workshops and Flower Festivals all held under different Chairs and venues.

Throughout all the years BFC has been a very friendly club open to everyone, new ideas and ways of working. Please pop along to any of our monthly club meetings, (for which there is a guest fee if you are not a member of the Club)  and don’t be afraid to even join us on the Committee. Once all details have been confirmed an updated calendar will be available on the website.

We hope you enjoy using the website and share with our love of flowers, foliage and friends

This website was originally introduced in December 2010 thanks to a Grant the Club received from the National Lottery Awards For All.
