Guidelines for the 2012 Bradford Flower Club Photographic Competition

1. The competition is open to all Bradford Flower Club members
2. The entry fee is £1.00 per photograph entered.
3. Photographs may be taken with a film or digital camera.
4. No photograph that has won a NAFAS or Club award may be entered into the competition.
5. No photograph may be entered in more than one class.
6. Entries are to be mounted and placed in an addressed envelope.
7. Classes:          

Class 1             Through the Window

Class 2             Summer Madness
                           (a photo of this summer scene or weather!)   

Class 3             A rose by any other name
                           (a close up of any flower that has rose in its name e.g. Rosemary. Please state the name on the back of the print)

1. The following details should be attached to the entry:

              i.      Class number and title

              ii.     Competitor’s name, address and telephone number

              iii.    The top of the photograph to be indicated.

1. Entrants submitting photographs of floral exhibits should where possible acknowledge the arranger or state if the exhibit is the photographer’s own work.
2. The judge’s decision is final.
3. All photographs must have been taken by the competitor.
4. Every care will be taken of entries but Bradford Flower Club cannot be responsible for entries that are lost or damaged.
5. The closing date for entries is Monday 15^th October 2012.
6. Prize giving and display of entries will be at the Christmas meeting on December 17^th 2012
